Windows has made a lot of improvements over the past few years, but you'll still run into - though not as frequently - an old friend: the blue screen of death, which appears when there is a system error.
BlueScreenView is a small application designed to see the information contained in the MiniDump files that Windows creates after a blue screen incident. In the application's menu, you can see a list of MiniDump files organized by basic information, like the date of the error or the file name.
At the bottom of the window you can choose to see either a list of the drivers implicated in the error, the Raw Data, or even a recreation of the blue screen in Windows XP style. If you double-click on any of the error files, you'll get more detailed information.
If you want to figure out why your machine is failing, or you're just curious about some error that occurred in the past, BlueScreenView will help you to access all of the information that you thought you'd never see again after restarting your machine.
